The British Consulate, located in Pacific Place in Admiralty near the Shangri-La, Conrad and JW Marriott, offers excellent value for money and the prestige of holding a corporate event here will attract a quality audience. The venue and its services are available to British companies (including local offices) for events ranging from networking events such as large scale cocktail receptions to exhibitions, product launches, press conferences, or one-to-one business meetings or small business seminars.
The venue can also provide guest lists, send out invitations in the British Consulate’s name, and catering and audiovisual equipment. The reception area can fit 100 for standing cocktails, as can the patio. There is also a conference room that can fit 40 people and the Bar Dragon Inn for more relaxed events for 50 people Lloyds of London recently held a cocktail party here and the British Computer Society held a networking event.

Polytechnic University offers an economical conference venue year-round. It regularly
hosts international academic conferences, business events, concerts and awards ceremonies at its two great venues.
The Jockey Club Auditorium has two levels that can seat up to 1,080, and a foyer for registration and receptions. Nearby an outdoor amphitheatre has proved popular as a catered lunch venue or for cocktails. A second venue, the Chiang Chen Studio can seat 247 and is ideal for smaller
seminars. The Poly U’s catering outlet, the Theatre Lounge, is conveniently located next door.
