Universal McCann Sydney wins big at Cannes

Universal McCann Sydney has won the Cannes Media Lion Grand Prix for its 'Launching an Airline on the Smell of a Lynx Can' campaign. <BR><BR> According to jury president and CEO of Starcom MediaVest Group, Renatta McCann, the agency was awarded the top prize for its "mixed use of media and great insight on young Australian males and the deodorant product". She noted: "(The work) used each and every touch point and all the elements worked well together." <BR><BR> The jury gave out a total of 36 Lions of which eight were awarded to work from Asia. Universal McCann Sydney was also named 2006 Media Agency of the Year by judges.
