Unilever has teamed up with Workpoint and Sony Music to launch Thailand's Got Talent, which starts next month. The branded content is being produced by Group M's Thai offices, led by Soonthorn Areerak.

The Freemantle Media Enterprises' Got Talent franchise is expected to attract 10 million viewers throughout the Kingdom and is hugely popular among the Thai people.

Aside from providing a platform for the Thai people to showcase their performing talent, the grand prize, including cash, a car and a condominium, valued at more than Bt 10 million (approx US$370,000) is Thailand's largest-ever prize package.

Thailand will now become the fifth country in Asia and the 43rd country worldwide to have a local version of the Got Talent franchise. Unilever will focus on key brands SunSilk and Rexona.

As it is open to people of any age, the programme is expected to attract more than 20,000 contestants from across the Kingdom who will demonstrate their talent in singing, dancing, performing magic, comedy, puppet shows, acrobatics, or almost anything they are confident enough to perform on stage.
