Unilever bolsters site interactivity

Hindustan Lever (HLL) is introducing more interactive elements on its Clinic shampoo brand website, from viral components to a "make a movie" promotion.

Web design company BC Web Wise built the viral element on two levels -- adding a forward page prompt at every creative opportunity and giving every element on the Clinicallclear.com site a unique creative treatment, said Clinic brand manager Anand Khurana. "The movie idea started off with trying to develop an interactive cartoon strip and turned out to be something much more elaborate," said Chaya Carvalho, MD of BC.
