M&C Saatchi scooped the business, worth an estimated Rmb 200 million (US$27 million) in advertising spend, following a pitch that included Grey, Nitro, Meigao and Hakuhodo.
The development comes less than a year after Uni-President selected the fledgling IPG shop to handle the business. In late 2006, JWT was abruptly dismissed from handling the same advertising accounts, just two months after securing the business in a major multi-agency pitch.
