UM Australia promotes Johnson to GM Sydney

SYDNEY - Universal McCann Australia has promoted its national digital director Travis Johnson to the post of general manager of UM Sydney.

Johnson is charged with leading the agency’s business out of the office, which is the largest of UM Australia’s four bureaus.

He has been with the agency for more than three years and has worked with brands including AAPT, Microsoft and Stockland during his time as digital director.

He begins his new role July 1, and his appointment follows the promotion of the agency’s Australia CEO Henry Tajer to regional president for Asia-Pacific.
