UK's Iris brings new consultancy to Asia

LONDON - UK-based integrated marketing agency Iris has revealed plans to export its newly acquired management consultancy Concise to Asia-Pacific.

Iris secured the US$10 million acquisition earlier this month, pipping a number of interested parties to the deal.

“With Concise,we can now provide high-end strategic advice for companies,” he said.

The team is eight-strong, with plans to treble it within two years as it expands overseas. “Increasingly, key marketing decisions are made in Asia, so we will be looking to export the Concise offer in the coming months,” said CEO Ian Milner.

“Concise is really strong in the pharmaceuticals space, but it is its experience in the gaming industry that presents us with the biggest opportunity in Asia.”

Iris has also hired the former client services director of The Marketing Store Australia to run its Sydney office.

Simon Porter (pictured) will report to Iris regional CEO Richard Bleasdale, who said: “Simon knows the Iris brand and business well and totally gets what we are trying to achieve in the Australian market.”
