UK branding firm rolls out Asia office

SINGAPORE - English & Pockett (E&P), a UK-based branding firm specialising in media and entertainment clients, has opened its first Asian office in Singapore.

According to Alx Gunn, head of marketing, E&P, the office was launched to service a widening portfolio of regional clients such as Channel News Asia, BBC Global Channels (Asia) and Thai channel True Music.

“Until now, production out of the UK has made our pricing relatively costly for the (Asian) market, so we are pleased to be able to make use of local post-production resources and offer our services on a more competitive basis,” said Gunn. He added that while creative direction would be led out of London, local creative staff would also be recruited in due course.

Debbie Lee, most recently Asian Food Channel’s vice- president of marketing for 18 months, has joined E&P as business development director at its new office.
