Two Up Front brings World Corporate Golf Challenge to Hong Kong

HONG KONG - Two Up Front, Hong Kong-based sports event PR and publishing company, has secured a long-term license to host the Hong Kong leg of the World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) from the WCGC's parent company in Spain.

Twenty teams, comprising of four players each with a maximum handicap of 24, will contest the WCGC Hong Kong on 5 March, 2010 at the Discovery Bay Golf Club on Lantau Island.

“The WCGC Hong Kong will give corporate golfers in the territory a truly significant annual tournament in which to compete,” said Two Up Front editorial director Niall Donnelly. "This event complements our extensive professional golf portfolio which includes two of Asia’s biggest tournaments, the
UBS Hong Kong Open and the Ballantine’s Championship in Korea.”

Two Up Front are co-organising the WCGC Hong Kong with event management company Laxton Marketing Consultants.

The two firms have previously worked together on the HKFC IP Global International Soccer Sevens and the Hong Kong Tens rugby tournament.

The 2010 WCGC World Final, featuring teams from more than 20 countries and territories, will take place in South Africa from 3-8 May.
