TVB links with mainland online portals for 40th anniversary push

HONG KONG - TVB Hong Kong has linked with mainland-based video sharing site 56.com and QQ.com for a major brand push surrounding its 40th anniversary celebrations in the SAR and China.

TVB will provide live broadcasting of its TV Awards Presentations in November, library programme content for viewing across both the online platforms and programme clips from the broadcaster’s library.

“It is a win-win innovative integrated marketing opportunity for Hong Kong and mainland advertisers, which gives advertisers a chance to tap into audiences on both television, online and mobile,” said Jordan Lau, head of strategic development, marketing and sales division, TVB.
