TVB.com inks deal with Now

HONG KONG - TVB.com has launched a new joint offering with now.com.hk, which will allow viewers to watch time-delayed dramas on the PCCW owned website.

TVB.com inks deal with Now
The initiative will see the website broadcast full versions of current TVB evening dramas ‘Best Selling Secrets’, ‘The Silver Chamber of Sorrows’, and ‘Catch Me Now’ two hours after they have run on TVB.

This service is offered on a monthly online streamlining subscription basis, whereby subscribers can also watch other existing now.com.hk content.

“We have cooperated with TVB for many other programmes - drama programming is the latest value-added services to our broadband users,” said Ada Kwok, marketing manager at PCCW.

“TVB.com is a portal website but does not offer any paid online streaming services. The advantage for TVB in giving us this content is that we have a large existing customer base and payment system, along with a stable network and server.”

TVB.com and Now.com are working together on PR event, to be followed by an aggressive radio and online promotion.
