"If you think about the nature of their working lives, they're less likely to be sitting at their desks with the computer in front of them," said Objective Research MD Nigel Jacklin. "They're more likely to be on the move, so newspapers and TV are more likely to present a source of information for them."
CNN was the most-watched TV channel, with 80 per cent having watched the network in the last month. BBC World was second at 55 per cent, CNBC (51 per cent) and Bloomberg TV (42 per cent). The Financial Times was the leading daily in average readership of international publications, with 33 per cent, while The Wall Street Journal Asia was second, garnering 26 per cent. The Economist was the most popular weekly title with 35 per cent.
