Tourism Authority of Thailand steps up plans for specialist CEI division - Oct 00

BANGKOK The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has moved closer toward establishing a dedicated convention and exhibition bureau. TAT deputy governor Ms Juthamas Siriwan admitted such a bureau was "very likely" as the Asia Pacific conference, exhibition and incentive (CEI) market was so competitive that a bureau was essential to ensure Thailand becomes a major player in the sector.
