Tourism Australia eyes HK coffee fans

HONG KONG - Tourism Australia is linking with Pacific Coffee to promote the country as 'the' Christmas destination.

The ‘Hot Christmas’ campaign will involve six coffee outlets across Hong Kong featuring a full range of in-store Australian decorations, special coffee selections, and digital displays of Australia.

The drive, developed by Carat, also includes online and mobile components, to drive greater visitor numbers to Australia from Hong Kong.

Targeting what the agency calls ‘experience seekers’, Carat is basing its campaign on reserach which shows that this segment is a regular fixture at coffee shops.
