Top Gear event attracts Hong Kong sponsors

HONG KONG - The Hong Kong show of the Top Gear Live world tour has pulled in a clutch of local sponsors, including title sponsor Shell V Power, Virgin Atlantic, Grand Hyatt Hotel and Commercial Radio Hong Kong.

The show, based on the BBC’s popular car programme, will kick off in Hong Kong from February 20-22 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

It features stunts and choreographed driving sequences, as well as its two TV presenters Jeremy Clarkson and Richmond Hammond and local host Marchy Lee, the first Chinese Formula Racing champion to win an international series.

Sydney, Auckland and Hong Kong are the only Asia-Pacific legs, with Hong Kong closing the tour.
