Hoffman regional CEO Lou Hoffman confirmed that the agency was currently searching for Tomsett’s successor. “The challenge is that a lot of the requirements we are looking for are pretty much the same as would you find at any of the megashops, but the wrinkle is we don’t operate like a megashop,” said Hoffman.
“How we treat the financial side - with a single regional P&L, gives this role a different flavour. It’s not for everybody.”
Tomsett joined Hoffman after a previously running Burson-Marsteller Greater China. Her next destination remains unclear.
