TM adds two to creative roster

Telekom Malaysia has added Dentsu and Bloomingdale to its creative roster, following a review of its advertising requirements initiated in July.

The two agencies will work alongside TM's existing agency partners, TBWA, Astana and Interface. Spencer Azizul, Pesaka Grey and Friends also took part in the review, while Lowe withdrew from the process at an earlier stage.

Zuraida Mohamad, Telekom Malaysia's assistant GM for group marketing, brand, advertising and media, said the new agency line-up would help the telco better deal with the scale of its advertising operations, although exact responsibilities have yet to be finalised.

"We need to look that over before we decide anything, which will take a few weeks," she said.

The first campaigns for the two new agencies would likely break towards the end of the year, Mohamad added.
