During his tenure Tiongson launched UM in Vietnam, before joining the Singapore office in 2004. As strategic planning director he spearheaded UM’s research division, UM Consulting. It is believed that Tiongson will continue to do media research at a non-competitive agency.
According to Jonathan Thurlow, SVP and regional director of Universal McCann said, “We’re in the midst of finalising candidates [to replace Phil] and will make a decision very soon.”
