Time launches 'Roam' deal for ITU Asia

<p>Time Asia has recently launched its latest integrated marketing </p><p>opportunity: "Roam - Go!". </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The launch will coincide with the International Telecom Union (ITU) </p><p>Telecom Asia 2000 show in Hong Kong in December 2000. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The Roam package builds on the success of last year's "Visions of China" </p><p>programme. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Andrew Butcher, publisher of Time Asia and Fortune Asia, said that </p><p>for anyone in the telecoms industry, Asia was one of the "greatest </p><p>investment opportunities today", with 150 million mobile phone users in </p><p>the region. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"When it comes to telecoms and technology coverage, Time, Asiaweek and </p><p>Fortune take the lead," he said. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Butcher said the package would provide advertisers with "what will be </p><p>a must for anyone wishing to reach the high-level audiences that ITU </p><p>provides". </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The package includes online, print and additional marketing components </p><p>that will be published in special editorials by Time, AsiaWeek and </p><p>Fortune, and distributed at the event. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>ITU is a specialised agency of the United Nations and brings together </p><p>strategic experts from its 188 member countries. It is the only </p><p>telecommunications event that attracts both industry and government. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
