Time Asia has recently launched its latest integrated marketing
opportunity: "Roam - Go!".
The launch will coincide with the International Telecom Union (ITU)
Telecom Asia 2000 show in Hong Kong in December 2000.
The Roam package builds on the success of last year's "Visions of China"
programme.
Mr Andrew Butcher, publisher of Time Asia and Fortune Asia, said that
for anyone in the telecoms industry, Asia was one of the "greatest
investment opportunities today", with 150 million mobile phone users in
the region.
"When it comes to telecoms and technology coverage, Time, Asiaweek and
Fortune take the lead," he said.
Mr Butcher said the package would provide advertisers with "what will be
a must for anyone wishing to reach the high-level audiences that ITU
provides".
The package includes online, print and additional marketing components
that will be published in special editorials by Time, AsiaWeek and
Fortune, and distributed at the event.
ITU is a specialised agency of the United Nations and brings together
strategic experts from its 188 member countries. It is the only
telecommunications event that attracts both industry and government.
