Sources suggest that CAAS is likely to shortlist at least three agencies in the next few days. The final agency appointment will be made by 1 June.
The current tender is reported to be a part of a mandatory review that the CAAS conducts every two years.
The government body is also in the process of selecting a digital agency through a separate tender.
From 1 July, CAAS will be split into two - one part to regulate the industry and the other to run the airport. The tender specifies it is looking for a creative and a media agency for both new companies.
