Thailand scoops two gold Lions in Film

Asia capped off its Cannes wins with a total of five Lions in the competitive film category. <BR><BR> While the star of the show was Grand Prix winner Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO London for Guinness' 'Noitulove' spot, Thailand scooped two gold Lions. Spikes 2006 Best of the Best winner JEH United Bangkok's Smooth-E 'Love story' campaign and Creative Juice\G1's Bangkok Insurance campaign impressed judges to take two of only nine golds awarded by judges. <BR><BR> Hakuhodo Tokyo scooped a Silver Lion for Toyota's 'Humanity' and Dentsu Tokyo bagged a bronze Lion for Japan Dairy Council's 'Love letter'. Lowe Shanghai also contributed to the region's haul of metal, taking a bronze for Electrolux's 'Suicide' spot.
