Thai ad veteran retires

BBDO Bangkok CEO Decha Tangpanitansook has announced he will retire in December this year, after a 29-year career in advertising. <BR><BR> Replacing Decha (pictured) is Songkran Sethesompobe, who will assume the managing director role next week, reporting to Chris Thomas, chairman and CEO BBDO Asia. Songkran will work alongside chief creative officer Suthisak Sucharittanonta, and Andres Ruktasiri, chief operating officer. "Songkran brings leadership skills, client experience and senior management expertise to our businesses, and his appointment marks a step change in our capabilities," Decha said.
