"KFC's reach throughout the nation is extensive, with outlets in almost every city and town. The end of the summer has witnessed a hard push by telco brands advertising 3G services with Maxis for its Hotlink 3G and Celcom's Nokia 3G coming in joint sixth place. TMNet also had a significant presence with its broadband and communications services all having multiple TVCs in the chart.
Newcomer M&M has entered the chart in 14th place with a lively TVC developed out of BBDO Mexico for the brand's three key product variants: Milk Chocolate, Crispy and Peanut. The spot entitled 'Boliche', which means bowling in Spanish, has been adapted to suit a local audience and pushes the brand's global positioning of a 'fun chocolate eating experience'. It will be running for six months. Other newcomers include Sustagen milk powder products in 16th and a spot for the Mitsubishi Lancer at 19th.
