TBWA Vietnam wins APB assignment

HO CHI MINH CITY - TBWA Vietnam has won the creative account for Larue, an Asia Pacific Breweries-owned beer brand, after pitching against DDB and Saatchi & Saatchi.

The Omnicom agency has been tasked to relaunch the brand, which is Vietnam's longest established beer. Through-the-line communications are expected to reposition the brand using its "the original beer" proposition.

"This account is a great opportunity to apply TBWA's ‘Disruption’ mantra to an exciting challenger brand in the Vietnamese market," said Juliana Nguyen, the managing director of TBWA Vietnam.

Larue is owned by Asia Pacific Breweries and distributed by Vietnam Brewery Limited, which also distributes Vietnam's market leading beer brand, Tiger. Established in 1909, Larue is considered one of Asia's oldest breweries.
