Ducray, who has been with the network for the past four years, is leaving at the end of this month to join Nestlé Rowntree as its UK marketing chief. The consumer goods company is buying out Ducray's contract to enable him to start work in early August.
TBWA's regional chairman Keith Smith declined to name Ducray's replacement, saying only that "he has extensive Asia-Pacific experience and knows the region extremely well".
Meanwhile, TBWA\Hong Kong is also losing its general manager Stewart Li, who is leaving the agency to join Carat as managing director for Hong Kong and South China in mid-August. Li joined the Hong Kong office in 2000.
Smith said the agency had planned for a smooth transition, having hired client services director Ada Chiu from Leo Burnett early this year to take over from Li.
