“We will promote from within wherever possible,” he said, adding that his replacement was unlikely to be a high-profile member of the industry. “I’ll be 54 years old in December, so it’s really not a big deal.”
Santisiri co-founded local shop Next & Triplet in 1982, which was acquired by TBWA a few years later to form TBWA\Next\Triplet.
During his career, Santisiri helped the agency win accounts such as local petrol giant PTT, Pedigree Whiskers, adidas and Nivea.
“I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, but it’s not easy to walk out of an agency you’ve been with for so long. You need to prepare the younger generation to take over, but I think they’re ready now.”
