TBWA strengthens leadership in new Greater China region

SHANGHAI - A month and a half after TBWA created its Greater China region, the agency has bolstered its management team across disciplines to oversee operations in the zone.

MD of Integer, Eric Wong
Former general manager, Eric Wong (pictured), has been promoted to managing director of TBWA’s shopper-marketing arm Integer. Launched in China in 2007, Integer’s key clients include Pepsi, Wrigley, Proctor & Gamble and Haagen-Dazs.

At TBWA Shanghai, Yeat-Mung Koo has been promoted to head of account management. Koo, who joined TBWA in 2006, will oversee clients such as McDonald’s, Wrigley and adidas.

Richard Cotton, meanwhile, will take on the role of business director of Tequila Shanghai. Cotton, who has worked for TBWA in London, Europe and Shanghai, will specifically lead the agency’s Pernod-Ricard account.

The managers will work closely with regional president, Ian Thubron, who assumed his role when the zoning restructure took effect.

“The second tier of management in TBWA Greater China is incredibly strong, and these promotions reflect that strength.,” Thubron said. “It is our duty to groom for the future, and we have high hopes of Yeat-Mung, Eric and Richard as we continue to grow with our clients in this incredible market.”
