TBWA\SMP, Burnett split Guild rewards

TBWA\SMP and Leo Burnett have split top honours at the Philippines Creative Guild Awards, each nabbing two golds apiece.

TBWA\SMP took home TV Campaign of the Year for its KFC Crunch Series, and Print Campaign of the Year for its Gatsby work. Leo Burnett, meanwhile, won the Print Ad gold for a Perla execution, and also scooped best Radio Ad for the same client. Excluding the craft categories, BBDO Guerrero Ortega scooped the most metal — one gold, three silvers and four bronzes, along with 15 finalists, ahead of TBWA\SMP — which also won two silvers and three bronzes. The Guild also hands out Diwa Awards for the best public service advertising. In these categories, BBDO Guerrero Ortega struck gold for its Childhope TV work, Y&R scored gold for its Hope Worldwide radio ad, and JWT for its Greenpeace 'Trees' print ad
