TBWA Singapore adds two creatives

SINGAPORE - TBWA\Tequila Singapore has hired Gary Steele and Hagan de Villiers from the network's Johannesburg office as integrated creative directors.

The pair will plug the gap left by Ron Fielding and Tracey Fox, who left the agency to join Andy Blood's creative department at TBWA\Tequila Auckland in September.

Steele and de Villiers were joint-CDs at Tequila Johannesburg where they worked on Standard Bank, Neotel, Motorola and Monte Casino.

They will report to ECD Graham Kelly (pictured). A start-date has yet to be finalised.

Kelly commented: "I see this as a further step in our ambition to be the most integrated agency in the market. I can't think of many other agencies that have CDs with Gary and Hagan’s through-the-line background."

Steele and Hagan picked up a Media Lion and a Direct Lion at Cannes this year with "drunk driving can be fun" for Toot-n-Scoot taxi service.
