TBWA picks up Outback Steakhouse in Korea

SEOUL - Outback Steakhouse Korea has appointed TBWA to handle its US$6 million advertising account.

Effective from this month, the brief will see TBWA take over ATL responsibilities from incumbent agency Phoenix, after a competitive pitch that also included Cheil Communications and JWT.

The first campaign is expected to break this month. Outback Steakhouse, which launched in Korea in 1997, now boasts more than 90 outlets across the nation.
