TBWA Korea hires for Kerwin's post

Patrick Wilkerson is set to return to Korea, where he helped set up McCann Erickson as a standalone operation in the '90s, this time joining TBWA\Korea to lead its international division.

Wilkerson left Leo Burnett Singapore at the end of last year, where he had been regional director for brand and business development. At TBWA\Korea, he will take over a portfolio of 13 international accounts, and replaces Bob Kerwin, who is planning to return to the US after a two-year stint with the agency. Two of the agency's biggest projects for international clients last year were the launch and rebranding of SC First Bank for Standard Chartered following its acquisition of Korea First Bank and assisting with the Korean debut of Nissan's Infinity marque, which was previously only available in the US. TBWA recently won the task for local bakery chain Paris Croissant in a pitch against Dentsu-Inovak and LG Ad. LG was incumbent on media while Creative Air had held creative.
