HONG KONG: TBWA Hong Kong has been appointed by Cadbury
International to develop a global campaign for Cadbury Eclairs,
previously handled by TBWA in London.
The Hong Kong office was awarded the assignment to produce a set of ads
for developing markets, in particular China, but also India, Poland and
South Africa based on its work for the brand. The Hong Kong agency has
also retained its AOR status for Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate for China
and Malaysia.
TBWA Hong Kong chairman and regional strategic planning director, Gavin
Heron, said: "It is better to have creative development closer to the
important market of China. But we have also developed a track record of
strong strategic with unique creative that can travel."
The Eclairs campaign, aimed mainly at 16 and 25 years old females will
likely consist of television, press and poster ads.
