TBWA enters Motorola Asia creative review
TBWA has emerged as a contender for Motorola's creative account, and is pitching for both the North Asia and high-growth markets against incumbent Ogilvy & Mather.

The Omnicom agency stepped in after sister shop BBDO pitched against Ogilvy for the high-growth markets segment - comprising India, Southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East - in mid-March. BBDO was not, however, included in the North Asia review, which reportedly took place last week.

The Asian components of the process follow the commencement of Motorola's global creative review in September 2005. Since then, business has been shifting from Ogilvy to Omnicom agencies, most notably BBDO, which secured the UK and European business, along with the launch of the Rokr iTunes handset.

Motorola, TBWA, BBDO and Ogilvy all declined to comment.
