Tang was most recently the executive creative director at Ogilvy & Mather, with responsibility for the same region, while Medcalf previously held senior positions with Y&R and Saatchi & Saatchi. DDB Greater China president and chief executive officer, Aaron Lau, said the appointments reflected new business wins as well as the need to "better integrate our network's resources in the Hong Kong, China and Taiwan markets". In Taiwan, Harrison Deng was named the new managing director. Deng has held a number of high-level posts at Leo Burnett and O&M offices in Taiwan and was vice-president of Dachan, the KFC franchisee.
