Tag Heuer aligns with BBDO for global branding push

PARIS - Swiss watch manufacturer Tag Heuer has chosen to partner with Paris-based CLM BBDO to develop a global campaign that it plans to roll out in over a hundred markets next year.

According to a statement from the agency, Tag is looking to achieve “a more upscale status” as a luxury brand with a sporting essence.

The initiative is expected to place emphasis on the brand’s projected culture of innovation, competitive spirit and personal achievement, and will feature personal stories from spokespeople such as Tiger Woods, Lewis Hamilton, Steve McQueen, Maria Sharapova, and Kimi Rakkonen.

Tag Heuer is part of French luxury goods conglomerate LVMH.
