Support grows for WWF black-out bid

SYDNEY - The World Wildlife Foundation Australia is launching a campaign to turn off Sydney's lights for one hour on 31 March.

With Leo Burnett Sydney developing the creative and Red Agency handling PR in association with Fairfax Media, the ‘Earth Hour’ teaser campaign has already garnered the support of the New South Wales state Government, along with sections of the business community.

Key landmarks, including the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, will be plunged into darkness on 31 March, aimed at drawing world attention to the depletion of natural resources.

The final media mix leading up to the event includes television, mobile, radio, events, print and posters.
