Superglue gets outdoor treatment to build a more creative brand image

Leo Burnett Singapore has created a new outdoor poster campaign for Selleys Super Glue, to make the brand more attractive to art students on the island.

Three colourful posters -  'Boy Bands', 'Ex Girlfriends'and 'Hippies' - are based around an 'It could so be true' tagline.

According to an agency spokesperson, super glue has had a "rough, unimaginative image" for too long.

"The product itself is full of creative potential," continued the spokesperson. "This campaign aims to create a far more creative look and feel for the brand, that will not only separate Selleys from other standard super glues, but also  convince students to visit GH Stationery stores."

The ads were art directed by Andrew Grant and written by Asheen Naidu. Dhanang Pambayun Putra handled illustration.
