Weber Shandwick, which edged out several undisclosed agencies in the final round, has been tasked with developing a regional communications strategy with an emphasis on media relations. The decision to award Weber Shandwick the business marks the first time Sun Life Financial has appointed a rostered PR consultancy.
Work on the account is expected to begin in January, with Weber Shandwick’s Hong Kong office leading the business for Asia-Pacific.
