Successful show for GlobalTronics

SINGAPORE The biennial GlobalTronics trade show drew 12,028 visitors this year when it was held at Suntec Singapore from October 10 to 13.

It was a slight decrease from 2004's participation (12,970), but there was an increase in foreign visitors. Thirty per cent of visitors to the show on day one were from overseas, compared with 2004 when 20% of all visitors came from abroad. Speedline Technologies Asia vice-president Asia, Bob Stevens, said: "The event is well organised. The people who came are important. There was a great crowd from Southeast Asia."
