Yu has six years' experience with Weber Shandwick and its sister companies, first in Taipei at Golin Harris and then at Weber Shandwick in Shanghai, where she served as associate director, working with corporate communications and healthcare clients.
Prior to her return to Weber Shandwick, she led the China healthcare practice at Fleishman-Hillard and Edelman for a total of three years.

Yu brings extensive experience in the healthcare and corporate communications sectors in Greater China, specialising in healthcare advocacy, patient and employee engagement, executive media and crisis training, issues management and disease and product communications.
Her work with top-tier multinational corporations and associations has led to several global and regional PR industry awards including the Asia-Pacific PR Award in the Healthcare Ethical category (2006) and an IABC Gold Quill Award in 2003.
