If there’s something we’ve taken away from La La Land, it’s that planetariums and gazing at sundials can be romantic. A new campaign from Science Centre Singapore – its first in a decade – endorses this idea with a sweet film about two young students connecting over heated discussions on the gravitational effects of the moon.
The film by Singapore-based creative studio Little Red Ant is satisfyingly well-paced and well-written, and would persuade even the most unromantic cynic (not Ad Nut, rest assured) to marvel at shooting stars and gaze into telescopes with their loved one. To boot, just for V-day, the centre will offer a complimentary stargazing session at the Observatory.
The campaign – with two more films to be rolled out in the coming months – is aimed at reminding Singaporeans about the wonder of the Science Centre and that it’s not just for school excursions. AKA Asia handles PR and social, while OMD does media.
Ad Nut is a surprisingly literate woodland creature that for unknown reasons has an unhealthy obsession with advertising. Ad Nut gathers ads from all over Asia and the world for your viewing pleasure, because Ad Nut loves you.
