StarHub plugs individuals in new brand push
StarHub has unveiled a new brand campaign, "I Am a Hub", that puts the consumer at the heart of the hubbing world. <BR><BR> Created by year-long incumbent, DDB Singapore, the campaign features testimonials from "real-life personalities" who integrate a range of StarHub services in their lives. "We're signposting hubbing as a social movement," said David Tang, President and CEO of DDB Singapore. "When we captured the range of real people hubbing in real-life in the ads, they're not about celebrity advertising - they're about a popular social phenomenon whose time has come." <BR><BR> Aside from print DDB has created a series of commercials helmed by Australian film director, Chris Begley, of Renegade films. An 'i am a hub' website, meanwhile, is a contest that gives people the opportunity to write and express in their own words, their passions, hopes and what they want to achieve in life.
