Eriksson, due to start next week as business director of Starcom IP, replaces Mark Newton, who left for Qais Consulting in March. Eriksson will be supported by Shefali Suradkar, Starcom IP's strategy director, who joined earlier this month from Indian digital agency Mobile2Win.
During a seven-year stint at Euro RSCG, Eriksson was digital director with responsibility for clients including Intel, Microsoft and Dell. Suradkar has had eight years’ experience with agencies including Contests2Win and JWT Media in India.
