Starcom scoops AOR assignment of Zydus Caldila

Starcom India has been named AOR for Zydus Cadila's consumer division, taking over the estimated US$460,000 business from incumbent The Media Edge, Rediffusion DYR's media agency, which recently lost VP Partha Ghosh, reportedly to pursue an global assignment.

Joyti Shiralee, GM -- marketing, Zydus Cadila consumer division, said: "Starcom is research-oriented and part of a large conglomerate, where we can get integrated services under one roof." Zydus Cadila has been increasing its presence in the over-the-counter segment and launched its Sugar Free brand recently. The company has also widened the presence of its EverYuth skincare brand, introducing a new face wash and scrub range. Starcom GM, investments, Manish Porwal described the win as significant.
