Watson replaces Brett Nielson who left the agency in April to join Ooh Media as its business development director, charged with expanding its strategic sales and marketing efforts in Queensland.
In his new role, Watson will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day management of the Brisbane office and providing strategic input for its clients.
Watson has over 17 years' experience in media under his belt, having previously worked at media agencies in Australia and the UK, with stints as client services director at Ikon in Sydney and European media manager at Mediaedge:CIA in London.
Throughout his career, he has worked with a client portfolio that includes Vodafone, Visa, Goodman Fielder, Horticulture Australia and also contributed to the Australian Labour Party's successful federal election campaign in 2007.
