The appointment follows the move of ZenithOptimedia's regional development director Matthew Semple (pictured) back to Hong Kong. Semple had been running Publicis Groupe's media operation temporarily following the departure of Zenith Vietnam MD Thomas de Foucaud.
Garg's career includes a spell at MediaCom in Dubai as well as other positions in media agencies in India.
Starcom China planning head Garg shifts to Vietnam top role
HO CHI MINH CITY - Roopam Garg, the head of planning at Starcom Guangzhou, has moved to Vietnam to run Publicis Groupe's combined ZenithOptimedia and Starcom operations as managing director.
