Star names new CEO for China
Star has appointed a new CEO for its operations in China, Jack Gao, who will take up the role in November. <BR><BR> Based in Beijing, Gao (pictured) will report to Star's regional CEO, Michelle Guthrie. He also assumes the role of V-P for News Corporation, responsible for running News Corps' operations in China. <BR><BR> In a statement Guthrie said Gao's experience made him a good fit for leading Star in China, citing in particular his technology background with companies such as Microsoft and Autodesk, as Star geared up for aggressive expansion in the digital media space.
