Ssang Yong calls creative pitch

SEOUL - Ssang Yong Motor Company, South Korea's fourth largest car manufacturer, has called a review of its Won 25 billion (US$26 million) domestic creative business.

Four agencies, including incumbent Oricom, Cheil Worldwide, Lee DDB and LG in-house agency Silver Bullet, are believed to be competing for the account, which will focus on raising awareness of its Chairman W luxury saloon and on brand maintenance of its Rexton II Euro SUV.

While the review predominantly calls for fresh creative ideas for the brand, it is believed that Ssang Yong has also requested strategic and media recommendations as part of the pitch, which is expected to take place on Friday.
