S'pore exhibition organiser taps TBWA for A-P job
<p>SINGAPORE: TBWA has won the ad account for the Singapore International </p><p>Convention & Exhibition Center (SICEC), which is spending Sdollars 1.1m </p><p>(USdollars 600,000) over three years to promote Singapore as a regional </p><p>hub for conferences and exhibitions. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>SICEC has persuaded the Singapore Tourism Board and seven Singapore </p><p>hotels to contribute money towards the campaign. The hotels are the </p><p>Conrad International Centennial, Ritz-Carlton Millenia, Marina Mandarin, </p><p>Pan-Pacific, The Oriental, Westin Stamford and Westin Plaza. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>TBWA, which also works for the Ritz-Carlton Millenia, was involved in a </p><p>creative pitch against several undisclosed agencies. The incumbent was </p><p>design studio Design At Work. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>A print campaign, aimed primarily at conference organisers, will be </p><p>launching in coming weeks in business and specialist publications. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
