Terry Savage, chairman of the International Advertising Festival, the organisers of Cannes Lions, Dubai Lynx and Eurobest, said the logo was designed to reflect both the heritage of the Spikes event and the region, while remaining relevant over time.
“Asia has become a centre of creative excellence - it has great creative people producing great work across many disciplines,” said Savage. “Spikes Asia will showcase the work but as importantly, showcase the people who create the work throughout the region and globally .
He added that he saw the event becoming a centre of learning, where people will be inspired by creative leaders - both global and regional.
The official Spikes Asia website www.spikes.asia, will launch on 5 March, with delegate registration opening on 23 April. Entries will be accepted from 21 May.
